Dev Log 1


This game was used as a gameplay prototype to test a custom controller and how a player will interact with the game differently with an object that is the same as the game world. The idea of using a custom controller was thought of by both Tom and myself (as a group), and we wanted to explore the different possibilities for tackling such a challenge. This week, I decided to use a PCB from a cheap controller. While this was a quick and relatively cheap way to design a quick prototype, the inputs were fixed to their factory positioning. This resulted in making a controller that was different from the initial design concept. While this controller prototype is different, it still achieves our aim of creating a controller specifically designed for a game.
