Dev Log 9
For the week before our Alpha Playtest, we added some small minor details to the game. The player’s model was updated and now has a hood and a cape. The air attack in the game, which was previously using raycast, similar to our fire elemental attack, has now been changed to a projectile-based attack that burst fires three projectiles at a time. The visual for this attack was also updated and has tear-drop shape projectiles.
Additionally, the controller was completely remodelled in Blender with correct sizing and proportions in relation to what our vision for the 3D printed version will be. The housing for the ‘controller’ part of the controller will be attached to the back of the controller with wires running through the external section. The internal section is free to move and will be capped off at the front to ensure the part does not fall out of the external section.
